87 people have been arrested and a large quantity of drugs seized in a crackdown on a notorious crime nest in Sihanoukville.
Preah Sihanouk Provincial Police launched a crackdown operation on March 5th at the KTV (karaoke) facility ” Jindan Zee ” in Group 2, Village 4, District 4, Preah Sihanouk Province.
The crackdown on the karaoke venue Jindan Zhi was coordinated by representatives of the National Police and the Sihanoukville Provincial Prosecutor’s Office under the direct command of Lieutenant General Lata, Deputy Commissioner of Sihanoukville Provincial Police.
In the early hours of the 5th, at 1:45 a.m., police raided the karaoke parlor and arrested 87 people .
Police seized a large quantity of drugs during the raid, including white powder and nitrous oxide .
Authorities are currently continuing their investigation and conducting legal proceedings. Some of the detainees include foreigners (Chinese) .
