”Gagaku GARAKU” Meals with an open garden, various private rooms and counter bar

Impressive elegant entrance

At the west side of the government district on Sisowath Street, if you go south from Bong Keng Kong 1st Ward on Street 63 past Mao Zedong Street, you will see a side wall that looks like a modest blindfold on the right side of the street where Sumibi Yokocho (self-proclaimed “Kizuna Street”) is located. There is “GARAKU” called JAPANES SEAFOOD. In a samurai residence, the word “Gagaku” stands out vividly on the red wall beneath the quaint pattern of a folding screen at the entrance. “GARAKU” probably means enjoying Miyabi.

A calm and lively interior

As you turn around to your left, you will see a series of low-rise buildings in the shape of a □ surrounding a lush green pond, and a simple terrace that overhangs the pond from the south, where traditional music is played during dinner. The terrace seating on the north side has an open feel, with a large breeze blowing through, and the calm red ceiling and pillars add brilliance. The simple design of straight lines and their intersections is geometrically functional , and the series of buildings that overlap in low tones and the water in the courtyard create a sense of moisture. You’ll be happy with the luxury of being able to casually enjoy lunch or a seasonal dinner here.

With an open pond garden and terrace seating, the atmosphere is different during the day and at night. I can’t miss this seat

Traditional music is played on the pond stage

We recommend seasonal dishes imported directly from Japan.

When I asked the staff at the restaurant, with the menu in hand, what I would recommend, they would reply, “It’s a fish dish made with ingredients directly imported from Japan.” When asked this kind of question, many restaurants will give you a number of answers, but one answer is surprising, which is probably why they take pride in their ingredients and the dishes that make use of them.

Enjoy the seasons with a beautiful eye and taste

Refreshing taste with tender meat and fresh vegetables

Flower basket gozen is also good, with a variety of seasonal ingredients.
